Getting the timing right is a little trickier with film

Playing with water

I had the chance to teach a class on playing with water a little while back, and in the middle of it, I pulled out some of the soon-to-be-extinct Ektachrome E100G. And then proceeded to nail the timing exactly. Yeah. I’m not usually that good, but here’s a great reflection through a waterdrop on honest-to-Eastman Kodak slide film. Which is awesome, because it’s probably the last chance I’ll get at it.

I haven’t had the chance to see the student’s shots yet from this lesson, but I know that they’ve got a few awesome ones on their cameras.
